Our City and the Nations

In Ezekiel 47 a river flows from under the door of the temple out into the land where it brings life to the trees along its shore. As our church is named River of Glory, we have named our missions and outreach ministries River Reach because God's compassion, power, and presence flow from His church, bringing revival to our city and to the nations. With this in mind, everything we do our first and foremost desire is that the Father's Kingdom would come and that His will would be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 5:9-10). We desire with all of our hearts to establish His rule and domain on the earth by displaying His compassion, His power, and His presence to those we come in contact with.

RIVERS OF REVIVAL -- Jerusalem, Israel

Scott and Ashley, who answered God's call to Israel, are currently residing in Jerusalem, and are there on a full time basis to help in seeing God’s plan of salvation and the redemption of the Jewish people come to pass. Something that they have in common with our believing Israeli friends is that they desire for God’s power to once more be displayed on the streets of Jerusalem in signs, wonders, and miracles.

It burns in their hearts to see the Kingdom of God made manifest in the lives of Israelis and to see them healed, delivered, and walking in their fullness. They will be sharing the Good News and power of Yeshua the Messiah to Israelis in their daily lives as well as in intentional evangelism on the streets of Jerusalem and other Israeli cities.They are very actively involved in the 24/7 IHOP prayer ministries in Jerusalem.

Jim and Shani have been ministering to Israelis together since 1998, and for the past 8 years, their hearts have been burning more and more to see Israelis come to the kingdom of God, established in local congregations, being discipled and mentored to be more like Yeshua, their Jewish Messiah, and to take this message to “Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Jim and Shani currently live in Jerusalem and are working to build the Kingdom in several multi-faceted ways including 24 hour worship and prayer, as well as planting congregations. They will be working closely with the youth in Jerusalem, who are experiencing the beginnings of revival not seen in Israel since the times of the early church. 

GENTLE HANDS--Manilla, Philippines

Evan and Charity are serving in the Philippines in children's social ministries. They also direct the Gentle Hands ministry to the poorest class of society. Started in 1990 by Charity's mother, Gentle Hands employs a staff of 15 and has frequent short-term missionaries that come from all over the world to lend a hand.

Through Jason's Home, Gentle Hands exists to provide short-term care rehabilitation services, including basic education, nutrition and general health care to children in physical danger, those severely ill, malnourished, abandoned or in other crisis situations as a result of poverty, uncaring family environment and other related problems until such time as they can be re-united with their family, transferred to another care facility or placed in foster or adoptive homes.

Through the DAVID Boys Residential Program, Gentle hands provides rehabilitation and/or long-term care and education to marginalized children and youth, including those who are orphaned, abused, neglected, drug-users and out-of-school.

When these children come to Gentle Hands, they are introduced to the Lord and are discipled and trained to become effective leaders for the Kingdom of God.

Local and National Outreach

Community Outreach

Our local outreach team schedules 3-4 major outreaches a year that seek to impact our community with the Kingdom of God. We do this through personal relationship, praying for the sick, preaching the Gospel, as well as meeting physical needs. We currently have a food bank on the campus of River of Glory that seeks to meet both the needs of those in the community as well as those in our church body.

Christian Ambassadors, officially created in 1994, is a multifaceted ministry. In addition to the ministry to children, Ken and Trudy are called to strengthen the body of Christ through teaching and to carry the gospel to the nations. They have ministered together in South Africa, Uganda, Guatemala and Honduras. Their heart is to bring restoration and training to young men bound by the chains of addictive behavior, to minister God's grace through seminars, marriage retreats and Christian counseling.
