We believe that kids are important members of the family and kingdom of God.  Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” He also said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Not only are the kids important to the Lord, they are important to us. In some ways, we adults need to become like them. Kids are treasured at River.

The mission of Treasures of the Deep is to equip a generation of children to know God, hear His voice, walk by the Spirit, and participate in the great commission by bringing heaven to earth and flow in love, joy and power with healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers, and casting out demons.

When kids taste and see how good God’s love is and begin to know the things freely given to them by God, nothing else in the world will compare, and the snares in their paths will be obvious and unappealing. Therefore, we want every service to be an opportunity for every kid to encounter Lord. Our services are designed to provide these opportunities. Our goal for kids graduating to Overflow youth group is that they are daily living in relationship with the Lord, hearing His voice and walking in the Spirit. They will be able to navigate the issues of life, succeed in all they do, and lead others into a relationship with the Lord too.
